To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing to express strong support for the Insure-Rite Program
and the uninsured data base process implemented in Utah. We
have experienced a tremendous decline in the number of
insured motorists and attribute the state's success to
implementation of the Insure-Rite product.
As a Legislator
and current Chairman of the Transportation Committee, I am keenly aware of
the efforts and progress made in helping individuals that drive vehicles
in Utah to operate and comply with our mandatory insurance regulations. This
has been particularly beneficial for high school populations by providing parents with the emphasis
necessary to make these, often- inexperienced drivers, comply with our laws.
In speaking of enhancements to the program, the legislature has seen the benefit of
adding additional enforcement components to the program over the past three years and
has given the program a ten-year sunset provision. I think this reflects their satisfaction
with Insure-Rite’s performance and effectiveness. My division is likewise pleased with the
results of your program since its inception as well as the fact it has withstood both a
legislative audit and a performance audit by the Utah Tax Commission. Overall, I can
state that I am pleased with the reliability and response time of the Insure-Rite, Inc.
database. Further, the customer service you provide to us and to those who utilize or
who are affected by Insure-Rite, Inc. has been very positive
Sincerely,

Utah State Senator
David H. Steele
