UTAH MOTORBOAT PROGRAM
Utah House Bill 184 made ammendments to include motorboats in the Utah Uninsured Motorist Identification Database Program. As such, insurers that issue a policy that includes motor vehicle liability coverage, uninsured motorist coverage, underinsured motorist coverage, or personal injury coverage are required to provide a record of each motorboat insurance policy in effect for vessels registered or garaged in Utah.
Insurers are required to enroll and participate in the Motorboats Program effective January 1st, 2025.

Guide
The User Reporting Guide has been carefully put together to assist insurers in business and technical aspects of the Program. It provides detailed information regarding program enrollment, timeframes, reporting procedures, and other technical requirements.

Insurers must enroll in the program by filling out the Insurance Company Profile Form and submitting the completed form to Insure-Rite’s Submissions Team.
